Account Manager

  • Develop and maintain positive client relations
  • Positive demeanor and outlook when it comes to customer management and service
  • Collaborate with our Underwriters daily and maintain a strong and positive relationship
  • Review property appraisals reports and identify recommendations
  • E-Docs/Renewal lists – review and handle accordingly
  • Manage client policy renewals as well as remarket existing clients when necessary
  • Process outstanding payments and banking information changes
  • Transact and Invoice Agency Bill Policy
  • Follow up on abeyances on a daily basis
  • Quote policy changes through CQ and company portals
  • Assist and Account Executives with renewals, policy changes and new business
  • Ability to problem solve and use appropriate judgment when assessing a risk or issue
  • Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario license in good standing (RIBO) – CIP or CAIB certification is an asset
  • Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, policies and products
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager/CSR/TSR
  • Excellent Customer Service, Communication and Computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.
  • Ability to work as a team and work well under pressure
  • Superior organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Power Broker and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) is an asset

TSR (Technical Service Representative)

  • Verify information on New Business applications to ensure risk fits internal guidelines
  • Upload New Business and Endorsements to insurance carrier portals
  • Prepare and mail out client letters for New Business and Endorsements
  • Contacting help lines for company portals where issues arise and where premium discrepancies exist
  • Daily EDI download and post automatic invoicing
  • A willingness to learn and excited about the opportunity to build a career in general insurance. Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario license in good standing (RIBO) – is an asset
  • Enrollment in an accredited College or University insurance education program would be a benefit but not a prerequisite
  •  1 to 2 years’ experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager/CSR/TSR
  • Excellent Customer Service, Communication and Computer skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Power Broker and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) would be considered an asset but not a requirement

RIBO Certified Commercial Insurance New Business Assistant

  • Assist with the day- to- day functions within the commercial insurance new business team:
    • Market new business
    • Developing and fostering excellent relationships with insurance carriers to secure the best terms for prospects and clients
    • Assist with developing the go to market process for tough risk placement
    • Keep current with new commercial insurance products, coverage and market trends
    • Confident working on carrier portals and submission systems
    • Comfortable doing online carrier, product, and policy details research
    • Follow-up on submitted quotes
    • Prepare insurance proposals for brokers/producers
  • All other duties that may be required from time to time
  • RIBO Licensed with at least 2-3 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
  • Excellent computer skills – Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Detail oriented with developed time management skills
  • Ability to work well with others throughout the organization

Certified Life Insurance Administrator

  • Establish customer relationships and proactively follow-up with customers as needed.

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.

  • Respond to customer and client inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim guidance, and billing clarifications.

  • Continuous learning to keep up-to-date in the ever changing life insurance industry.

  • Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills.

  • High level of professionalism and attention to always providing a positive member experience.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Entrepreneurial nature with a pro-active attitude and desire to contribute to business growth.

  • 2 to 3 years experience in life / group benefits preferred.

  • Strong familiarity with life insurance carriers and their product offerings.

  • Possess valid life insurance license in Ontario preferred.

  • University degree or similar designations are preferred.
